Overview
An epidural steroid injection delivers anti-inflammatory medication directly into the epidural space surrounding the spinal cord and nerve roots. It's performed using fluoroscopic (live X-ray) guidance for precision and can be done in the cervical, thoracic, or lumbar spine, or via the caudal approach. Both interlaminar and transforaminal techniques are offered depending on the location and cause of your pain.

What to Expect
