EMG & Nerve Conduction Studies

Electrodiagnostic testing that pinpoints nerve and muscle problems causing numbness, weakness, or pain.

Overview

Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) measure the electrical activity of nerves and muscles to diagnose conditions like pinched nerves, carpal tunnel syndrome, radiculopathy, and peripheral neuropathy — giving us objective data to guide your treatment plan.

Who This May Help

  • •Numbness, tingling, or weakness in the arms or legs
  • •Suspected carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome
  • •Radiculopathy (pinched nerve) confirmation
  • •Unexplained chronic pain with a suspected nerve component

What to Expect

  • •Performed in-office, results often available same day
  • •Mild, brief discomfort from small electrical pulses during testing
